Two Lakeland College apprentices claimed podium standings at the 2019 Alberta Provincial Skills Canada Competition, while three others received 2019 Provincial Safety Awards. 

Long-term resident appointed to Board of Governors​

Lakeland College is pleased to welcome Doreen McCaw to its Board of Governors. McCaw was appointed to the board as a public member for a three-year term by the Government of Alberta.

William Yap, a third-year business degree student, was awarded the bronze Leadership Excellence Award for Students from Colleges and Institutes Canada.  

Tax clinics give students a "head start"

Fourteen Lakeland business administration students participated in this year's free tax clinics and prepared more than 660 tax returns.

Emergency degree students complete onsite training

Travelling from across Canada, bachelor of applied business: emergency services students met for the first time to complete onsite training in emergency preparedness and response.
