Students take the lead at Lakeland College every day. Students are the reason why Lakeland College chose to engage in applied research. Applied Research is another way for you to gain valuable hands-on learning that is relevant to your future career. We want to provide the best experience for you, our students. Research helps us make sure that we have the most up-to-date faculty and staff as well as best-in-class facilities and infrastructure for teaching and research. Better yet, applied research creates more opportunities for you to work directly with industry and know exactly how to be a solution provider in your future workplace. Research is embedded into coursework and programming through assignments, case studies, capstone projects, student clubs, and other opportunities. In addition to enhancing learning in the classroom, you also have the chance to participate in applied research projects through [employment opportunities].
