Relocation of the Commons - Vermilion campus

Changes affecting the space within The Commons in Vermilion have made it necessary to temporarily move service areas. Here is how you can continue to access those supports and services during this disruption.

Campus Technology Services

• IT reception services – Alumni Hall room AH 248.
• Front line technicians – Academic Link room AL 111. Reach out through the support desk.
• New student kiosks –Student printers and computers are being set up outside the cafeteria and in the WHT Mead Building student spaces.
• Student printing – An additional student printer will be installed in the Trades Centre Pit.

Teaching & Learning Commons

• Learner Success Strategist: Email Stacey Haeberle for assistance.
• Accessibility Services: Email Colleen Smereka and Kalista McIntyre. They have relocated to the trades main staff office area, upstairs in the Trades Centre.

• Indigenous Support Services: Tinisha Young and Jazmyn Gartner have also relocated to the trades main office area upstairs in the Trades Centre. Email indigenous@lakelandcollege.ca or phone 780 581 0817 for assistance.

If you want to visit the commons staff in trades, here's how to get there.

• From the trade's Pit, head to the trades wing towards carpentry.
• Near the end of the hall, take the staircase on the right up to the second level.
• Diane at the front desk can assist you from there.

Library Services 

Hours: 8:15 am – 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday

• Vermilion campus book collection is currently unavailable.
• Print books can be requested from other NEOS member libraries. Search for books on our library page and place a hold on the book(s) you want.
  
• Pick up and drop off books at Student Services. Ask for Lia at the Student Services front desk
• Reference and e-services – contact the circulation desk by emailing library@lakelandcollege.ca or phoning 780 853 8463.
