Vermilion Residence

This is the averaged price of all room types in the Vermilion residence village. If you live in residence for less than a semester, change the default cost. Multiply the number of weeks of your program by $157.50 for an estimated cost.

Lloydminster Residence

This is the price of a spinwheel room on the Lloydminster campus.

Notes on the calculator

Accommodation and living expenses are based on a $1,153/month (Alberta) student loan guidelines. You may use your own numbers.
If your program isn't listed, then please check the program pages for tuition & fee information.
If you are taking a program online, those fees are listed with other program information.
Process and Power Engineering students, your summer practicum fee is due in April, and the remainder of your fees in August.

Apprenticeship, Fire & ES, Pre-employment

These programs aren't offered in traditional semesters. Your tuition and fees are for the "year" of your program whether it's 6 weeks or 12 months. Semester 1 shows the breakdown between tuition and mandatory fees.

For example, each trade's training period is considered a year in this calculator. Your total fees are only shown by year, as one training period equals a year. Semester 1 shows the breakdown between tuition and mandatory fees.

Residence fees

If you plan to live on campus you’ll need to change the default residence rate to the length of your program. Check the Vermilion residence page for specific 6, 8 &12 week stays.

International students

International tuition is $17,100 per year, or if program costs are higher, then that higher amount.
