ETC program info session

Our 2024 fire and emergency services program info session has come and gone.

If you missed visiting on August 9, check out Lakeland College Canada and Emergency Training Centre Instagram pages.

Our 2025 date has been set for Friday August 22. Watch for RSVP details early next summer.

2024 activities schedule

Activities start with registration at 8:30 am at the Emergency Training Centre in Vermilion.

The official schedule is from 9 am to 1 pm with activities at ETC. Included are:

  • demos on the Emergency Training Centre training field

    tour of ETC helmet hallway

  • talking to current students about their Lakeland experience
  • touring the Hallway of Helmets (see photo)
  • learning how our students get more hands-on training than available anywhere else
  • lunch is provided at noon

Optional activities in the afternoon from 1 to 3 pm include:

  • touring the Vermilion campus including residence and recreation facilities
  • applying to a program - we'll help you complete your application
  • getting questions about financial aid answered
  • learning about our support services
