HomeFuture StudentsRegistration and Orientation

All students, new and returning, are required to register in person at the college on registration day.

In January, registration is the first day of the semester. That's January 4, 2023 unless your program says otherwise.

Reminders

  • Pay your program fees - due on or before registration day on Jan 4.  Avoid the lineups and late fees by paying early. Check out all the ways you can pay tuition and fees.
  • New students - get your ID card. If you are a returning student, you can skip this step. Your current ID card is still valid. If you require a replacement card, please request one at student services after registration day. A replacements costs $20  for any card requested after the first week of class.
  • Check your My Lakeland account for your class schedule and the total tuition and fees you owe. If you're a new student you'll receive an email about My Lakeland and how to log on before Dec 20, 2022.
  • Attend both the program orientation and college registration. Business and UT students have been contacted with orientation details by the academic advisors.

If you don't attend registration, your enrolment at Lakeland College may be affected. If, for some unusual circumstances, you are not able to attend registration, please call 780 871 5700 or email admissions@lakelandcollege.ca

Residence move-in

If you're planning to live in residence, make sure you've received confirmation from the residence team about move-in dates.

If you haven't applied, the application is part of your acceptance letter. The deadline to apply is Dec 19.

International students

If you're a new international student, you'll have an orientation in the Alan Markin room. It's just down the hall from student services on the Lloydminster campus.

The sessions runs from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.

You'll be able to pay fees and get your ID card anytime between 9 am and 4 pm.
