In addition to being a distinguished Lakeland alumnus, Brian Keating is also an honorary conservation advisor for the Calgary zoo, an adjunct assistant professor of Anthropology at the University of Calgary and an international speaker in high demand with too many awards and achievements to list. But  you can read all about them at goingwild.org.

He'll share his voyage on one of the most astounding survival adventures of all time in the icy waters of the Antarctic. Photo (right) is of Keating watching two penguins during that trip.

Keating's presentations are popular. One attendee's summary: “I really believe that your huge success is in part your ability to connect us to something visceral, a call back to our true selves and our place in the natural world.”
