Administrative Support program
Learn hard and soft skills in this program.
Both types of skills are needed in the working world.
Hard skills include basic computer skills such as how to keyboard (type) and create documents. You'll move on to business writing, math and presentation skills.
Soft skills include customer service training. You'll also learn about organization, time management and decision-making skills.
Career planning and job search are also part of the program. Students create a professional looking resume and portfolio.
Every student will have daily access to a laptop.
Course work will include:
- Keyboarding and document processing
- Customer service/relations
- Workplace writing and communications
- Meeting procedures and business etiquette
- Personal development and career planning
- Work practicum and job search
