Online deliveryEnhance your resume and fill an agricultural labour shortage with Lakeland’s agri sales and customer relations certificate.
This 12-month program is delivered apprentice-style with 80% on-the-job training.That's through 5 work placements (220 hours each) that are part of modules 2 to 6.
The other 20% is online, about 4.5 hours per week. Each of the 6 modules takes about 8 weeks to complete.
You won’t need a job before you start the program. However, work placements are required with the second module, Nuts & Bolts of Sales. If necessary, Lakeland will help you find an industry partner for your hands-on training.
Each module will build your skills. You’ll put them into use at your workplace. You start with a sales orientation. The next five modules take you through topics including:
- your responsibilities in sales
- prospecting for customers
- negotiations
- guerilla and word of mouth marketing
- sales ethics
- presentations and meetings
- online sales
- developing a sales force
As a graduate you’ll be equipped with the tools and strategies you’ll need for a successful sales career.
