Agribusiness Admissions and Graduation Requirements

Admission requirements

High school diploma with a minimum 50% in:

• English 30-1 or English 30-2

• Math 30-1 or Math 30-2

If you didn’t graduate from an Alberta high school, please refer to the English, math and science provincial subject equivalencies.

If you don’t meet the admission requirements, please refer to special admissions.

Transfer credit

• We try to give you maximum transferability if you come to Lakeland from another college.
• If you completed a first year of business administration at another post-secondary institution, this may be accepted as credit towards the first year of agribusiness.
• Usually you need at least a C- grade in each course you want to transfer.
• Contact the agricultural academic advisor to talk about what courses may transfer. Call him in Vermilion at 780 853 8580 or toll-free at 1 800 661 6490 ext. 8580. You should start this process at least 2 months before classes start.

Graduation requirements

When you complete the requirements with a minimum grade point average of 2.0, you will be awarded a Diploma in Agribusiness.
