AST Beef Science Major Admissions and Graduation Requirements

Admission Requirements

High school diploma with a minimum 50% in:

• English 30-1 or 65% in English 30-2
• One of Biology 20, Chemistry 20, Physics 20, or Science 20
• Math 20-1 or Math 20-2

If you didn’t graduate from an Alberta high school, please refer to the English, Math and Science provincial subject equivalencies.

If you don’t meet the admission requirements, please refer to special admissions.

Graduation Requirements

When you complete the requirements with a minimum grade point average of 2.0, you will be awarded an Animal Science Technology: Beef Science diploma.
