Business Administration Real Estate Appraisal and Assessment Major Admissions and Grad Requirements

Admission requirements

High school diploma with a minimum 50% in:

• English 30-1 or 30-2
• Math 30-1 or Math 30-2

If you didn’t graduate from an Alberta high school, please refer to the English, math and science provincial subject equivalencies.

If you don’t meet the admission requirements, please refer to special admissions.

Transfer credit

• We try to give you maximum transferability if you come to Lakeland from another college.
• If you completed business courses at another post-secondary institution, you may receive credits towards your program.
• You must have at least a C in each course you want to transfer.
• Apply for transfer credits at least 2 months before classes start. Use our transfer credit form (pdf).

Provincial Business Administration Pathway

Incoming transfer students might be eligible for the provincial Business Administration pathway if you have completed Business Administration coursework at Athabasca University, Bow Valley College, Keyano College, Lakeland College, Lethbridge College, MacEwan University, Medicine Hat College, NAIT, Norquest College, Northern Lakes College, Northwestern Polytechnic, Olds College, Portage College, or Red Deer Polytechnic  in the last five years. Please contact the Academic Advisor for more information. 

Graduation requirements

If you complete the requirements with a minimum grade point average of 2.0, you'll be awarded a Business Administration Diploma: Real Estate Appraisal & Assessment major.
