Make business connections
Who you know is often a critical part of business success. Get started with Chamber Connect networking events as well as guest speakers and conferences. The Lloydminster Chamber has been an active support including the most recent virtual mentoring program.
Business class projects often tackle questions or problems. You could take on focus group research in a marketing class or a project through [RIIPEN]. With RIIPEN, you could work with a company - local or from across North America - on their business plan, website, social media and more.
Or learn how another part of the world assesses their real estate. International destinations include Mexico, Brazil, Greece, Thailand and Vietnam.

Practicums are one way you get real-world experience. For our business diploma students, there’s an optional 16-week paid work experience between your first and second year. Our administrative professional certificate includes a 3-week practicum.
