Your class schedule, or when your courses are held during the week, can be found on your MyLakeland student portal when available. Usually, one month prior to your program start date.

You’ll spend your first 8 months at Lakeland in face-to-face classes building technical and field skills.

An 8-month practicum with an employer follows for your second year. A practicum coordinator helps you find a practicum host. Most run May through December.

The academic schedule found below include deadlines, events and holidays. Most programs follow the same schedule, but any variations can be found below.

Sept 30 — National Truth and Reconciliation Day, college closed
Oct 14 — Thanksgiving, college closed
Nov 1 — Last day to withdraw from semester 1 with W grade or change from credit to audit
Nov 8 — Fall break for students
Nov 11 — Remembrance Day, college closed

April 25 — Last day of classes, semester 2, year 1
June 6 — Vermilion Campus Convocation
