Environmental Sciences supply and book lists
All of the diploma majors share first year courses, so the supplies and books are the same.
Many of your classes will involve lab work either in the field or the classroom. Be prepared to begin classes and participate in field tours and labs starting Sept 6.
Outdoor activities typically run regardless of weather and participation is required, so please bring appropriate clothing and footwear. Complete lists of what to bring with you are below.
There's a link for the applied degree below.

Textbooks
All textbooks have been ordered and will available in the college bookstore.
We don't send the list out in advance as there may be some changes to the book list over the summer, and certain books might not be available. At the start of each class your instructor will let you know if there is a required textbook for that course.
Course notes and lab handouts
You will need to bring required materials to classes and labs. This will be accessible through D2L. You have two options for printing these materials:
- You initially receive a $5 printing credit for college computer labs. More printing credits can be bought at the Vermilion bookstore
- You can bring your own printer and paper supplies.
