- There are no academic requirements for admission. An aptitude in math and physics and an interest in the environment is recommended.
- The courses are only available online via a distance delivery format. See online requirements for more information.
- If you don't have a high school diploma, you may not qualify to transfer credits to other post-secondary programs.
- Domestic (Canadian) students must register at least 2 weeks before and international students at least one month before the course start date to guarantee delivery of textbooks and resource materials.

Recognition of prior learning |
If you completed relevant courses at another post-secondary institution, you may be eligible for transfer credit. Apply for transfer credit at least 2 months before classes start by completing the transfer credit form. Review all of the other ways Lakeland does prior learning assessments. |
Graduation requirements
When you complete the program requirements with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, you will be awarded a Sustainable Energy Technology diploma.
When you complete the required certificate-level requirements with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0, you are eligible for a Sustainable Energy Technician certificate.
