In Alberta, writing 5 general educational development (GED) tests is one way to earn a high school equivalency diploma. The tests cover:

  • Language Arts—Writing Test (Part I and Part II)
  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Language Arts—Reading Test:
  • Mathematics (Part I and Part II)

Take the test at Lakeland

Our exam centre is authorized for GED testing.

You must create a GED account and book your test online.

 You can register and pay for your GED exams on the GED site. Or, contact the GED call centre at 1 877 392 6433.

  • You will be required to complete a personal profile at www.ged.com before scheduling your exam. You need an email address for this process.
  • You can schedule tests over more than one testing day.
