Admission Requirements
You must have a minimum of 30 post-secondary credits in human service-related studies. Those credits are equivalent to a certificate.
If you don't have human service-related credits, you'll need post-secondary credits plus a minimum of 3 years full-time experience working in the human services field.

Practicum Placement Requirements
- Before your practicum you're responsible for requesting a criminal record check (with a vulnerable sector check) through the RCMP in your hometown. Practicum agencies will require a clear criminal record check.
- Students may be required to possess a current First Aid in Childcare Certificate and may require a Intervention Record Check.
graduation requirements
When you complete the requirements with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.00, you will be awarded a Community Mental Health certificate.
