Making a Difference One Person at a Time
Real world experience
Right from the start of your program, you’ll have real-world opportunities to connect. Through projects, volunteering and practicums, you’ll do meaningful work with others. There's even an optional international practicum.
Student-led, innovation and excellence
We’re innovative in the field of human services. Lakeland’s student-led approach to learning started with our early learning and child care play program more than 30 years ago.
A few years ago we developed online and French options for many of our programs. And because students learn signed language best through immersion, this program is at the Alberta School for the Deaf in Edmonton.
We’ll never stop innovating and improving. Perhaps that’s why we won a Colleges and Institutes Canada silver award of excellence.
