Livestock Handling in Emergencies
Add to your first responder skills with our two-day livestock handling in emergencies course.
This is a unique to ETC course. We developed it, and teach it, with Lakeland’s agricultural sciences department. We designed it specifically for fire, police and EMS.
Collisions that involve vehicles carrying livestock add another element to your response. In the course, you'll learn how to safely and effectively respond to those accidents.
Vets may also find this course of interest. It's an approved continuing education credit for Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (ABVMA) members. Members receive a 16-hour continuing education credit.
