Online Emergency Preparedness
Take emergency preparedness training on your schedule with an online course from ETC.
This option is for individuals, departments and industry. You can do course work without leaving home or missing work.
Currently ETC's online offerings are limited to 3 emergency preparedness courses.

Registration process |
Step 1: Fill out the ETC Online Course Application (pdf). This includes providing the name and contact information for your proctor. Tips to save time
Step 2: Email, fax or mail the application to the Registrar’s Office, Lakeland College:
Step 3. After we process your application and payment, we'll email you with how to access your course. Step 4. Complete the course. You typically have 4 weeks to complete an online course and write your proctored examination. |
Exam proctors |
You must make the arrangements for a proctor before you apply for the online course. If there's a charge, it's your cost!
Tip: Local schools and libraries may have an exam writing centre. If your community has a college, it may also have an exam centre. Large companies may also have an internal exam centre. If your correspondence course has a written examination, you'll need a proctor. A proctor supervises the exam. Your proctor must:
Some proctors and evaluators charge a fee for their service. This is especially true if you use an exam writing centre. Check with your proctor and/or evaluator. It's your responsibility to pay these fees. Note: Courses with practical components require practical evaluations by an approved evaluator. See the Evaluator Procedures and Agreement form. |
