Pre-employment programs supply list

Pre-employment programs all have individual learning modules (ILMs) as basic texts. You pay for them as part of your tuition.

Each drop down lists the supplies you need. Not required, but useful, is a laptop or notebook computer.

When you choose your work boots, look for the CSA green label.

leather welder’s gloves suitable for GMAW & FCAW (gauntlet type)
one welding hat or beanie
CSA (green-tagged) approved safety toed boots
approved safety glasses prescription glasses, hardexed or plastic complete with side shields
welding goggles or shield for oxy fuel cutting, #4 or 5 shade (to fit over safety glasses)
welding helmet #10 shade, and clear lenses for welding helmet
MIG pliers
2 pairs vice grip pliers
soap stone
tip cleaners
