Trades Pre-employment: Learning in Action
Taking a pre-employment program gives you a chance to experience what your chosen trade will be like.
While you have classroom time, you’ll also a lot of lab time to get the feel of being mechanic, electrician or welder. Take a virtual tour of the Trades Centre.
When you’re finished your 12 weeks on campus, you step into your trade for 4-weeks on the job.
Your real world experience will show if this should be your career path. Your practicum placement might even become your job.
