How to pay tuition and fees
Lakeland College offers a number of ways to pay.
1. Online through your bank
- Set Lakeland College up as a payee in your online banking.
- Your student ID number is your account number.
- This can be used to pay for tuition and residence fees. Can also be used by online students to register for individual courses.
2. Online through your My Lakeland account using a credit card
- There's a 2.5% convenience fee on credit card payments made through My Lakeland.
- If you have questions, check My Lakeland help on fees and payments.
3. In person
- Cheque, money order, Interac, Visa or MasterCard can be used.
4. Via mail
- Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Lakeland College.
- Do not send cash through the mail.
5. With your student loan
- Depending on your home province, fees will automatically be sent to Lakeland College.
6. Through a sponsorship
- Sponsored students must supply a letter of commitment from the sponsoring agency at or before registration.
7. Through Flywire
- International students paying from outside of Canada use Flywire.
- Flywire allows you to pay securely from almost any country and any bank, typically in your home currency, and allows you to track your payment through email or SMS notifications.

What do I owe? |
You'll need to go into My Lakeland to see what you owe for tuition, residence and other fees. If you are a new student, you'll receive a link to your My Lakeland account mid to late July. If you're an online student, you'll be given access after you're accepted into the program. Then you choose and pay for the individual courses you want to take. |

How to set up a bank bill payment |
This service is only for payments within Canada. You’ll only have to set this up once:
|
Paying with a student loan |
If you are paying your fees with a student loan, at least one semester of mandatory fees will be deducted. If sufficient funds are available, Saskatchewan student loan holders will have the full year’s mandatory fees deducted. |
If you are sponsored |
Sponsored students (for example Human Resources Canada, Workers’ Compensation) must supply a letter of commitment from the sponsoring agency at or before registration day. Lakeland College will work directly with your sponsor to collect your fees. |
Refunds |
Refunds depend on when you withdraw or if you were required to withdraw. Application fees and tuition deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. A schedule of withdrawal dates can be found on the academic year schedule and the program's important dates tabs. You must follow the proper withdrawal procedure through the Registrar’s Office. Students who are required to withdraw do not receive a refund. Apprenticeship refunds:
Continuing education refund policies are explained on course pages on the online registration platform. |
Tax receipts |
Tuition and Education Amount Certificates (T2202A) will be issued at the end of February for qualifying programs taken the previous calendar year. Receipts are available online for students with My Lakeland accounts. Receipts are mailed to apprentices at the home address they provided at registration. |
