Build your Future in Trades

Lakeland’s Trades Centre is a hub of activity.

At its core is apprenticeship training. Every year around 800 students train in:

  • automotive service technician
  • carpenter
  • heavy equipment technician
  • electrician
  • parts technician
  • welder

We offer three pre-employment programs. High school CTS and dual credit students fill our labs. Our pathways extend to intro training for Indigenous learners, and much more.

Our reputation is for top-notch, award-winning programs, instructors and students. We’re proud of our continuously updated facilities. And, of our deep and wide-ranging industry connections.
