Prospective students will learn more about Lakeland College, meet current students and faculty, and much more virtually during Program Info Sessions.

Info Sessions offer participants a chance to do a deep dive into the specific Lakeland program they're interested in,” explains Kayleigh Schmid, Lakeland's recruitment and enrolment supervisor.

“These sessions go more in depth than our other events, giving prospective students the opportunity to discover what it means to be a Lakeland student - how our programs go beyond the classroom and give our students the hands-on experience they need to graduate job-ready. It connects them with faculty and current students so they can get answers to their questions and prepare to become a Lakeland student.”

The 2021 online Program Info Sessions will be held on March 11 and March 12.

On March 11 the Lloydminster campus will virtually welcome guests interested in learning more about

  • university transfer
  • health and wellness
  • business
  • energy

The Vermilion campus will follow on March 12, showcasing

  • agricultural sciences
  • environmental sciences
  • interior design technology
  • human services
  • trades (pre-employment and apprenticeship)

There will be individual virtual sessions for each program. There will also be opportunities to connect with academic advisors to discuss financial aid, learner pathways and transfer routes, as well as the many ways Lakeland supports our students. Virtual tours will also be available.

“We invite anyone interested in attending Lakeland this fall to attend. While we can't welcome you to campus in person yet, we can't wait to share the Lakeland advantage with you from the comfort of your home,” says Schmid.
