Lakeland College is excited to announce that tickets for Feast on the Farm, presented by Cenovus Energy, is now 95 per cent sold.
Ticketholders for this unique fundraising experience support student-led learning while enjoying a memorable evening under the prairie sky, complete with a farm-fresh meal, live entertainment by Abygale Durie, photo booth and silent auction. Held in an open-air tent at Lakeland’s Research Centre in Vermilion, Feast on the Farm is now in its eighth year of transforming student aspirations into achievements.
“Every ticket purchased for Feast on the Farm is a powerful investment in immersive learning experiences like no other that leave a lasting impact for our students and communities,” says Dr. Alice Wainwright-Stewart, president and CEO of Lakeland College.
Since its inception in 2016, Feast on the Farm has enabled Lakeland to provide more
opportunities for students to put their education into action before they graduate.
From adding new equipment for hands-on learning at the Emergency Training Centre and
the Student-Managed Farm - Powered by New Holland, to the development of a family
literacy project, student-led tax clinics, international teaching trips and more,
Feast on the Farm continues to elevate student success, raising over $342,000.
2025 marks the fourth consecutive year that Cenovus is the presenting sponsor at Feast on the Farm. However, its support of Lakeland is not limited to this event as the company is an annual supporter of the student awards program and was a major contributor to the creation of the Energy Centre and residence village on Lloydminster campus. In 2023, Cenovus also made a $650,000 donation to support Indigenous learners at the college.
