Completing the Pre-Administrative Professional course is a pathway into Lakeland College's
Business Administration Professional certificate.
Every student will have daily access to a laptop computer.
Advance your computer keyboarding skills and learn basic accounting. It's also a chance for you to work on soft skills that make you more employable such as communication.
A key piece of the program is personal development and setting you up for success.
Classes will be face-to-face delivery.
The program includes a 80 hour practicum where you can put what you learn into action.
Applicants must be:
- resident of Saskatchewan (Alberta residents will be accepted as fee payers)
- unemployed or under-employed
- out of school for at least one year
- 18 years of age or over
Course topics include:
- advanced key board skills
- digital literacy in Microsoft Office programs
- numeracy in basic accounting and math
- writing for business
- customer service
- presentation skills
- personal marketing including interview skills
Yes, if you are an eligible Saskatchewan resident.
Alberta residents may attend this program as well. Course fees will apply.
Lakeland College reserves the right to cancel a program due to low enrolment.
You will receive a 100% refund if you withdraw on or before the date that 20% of the program has been completed.
Not showing up isn't the same as withdrawing. Please contact us.
