Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

Grad portraits on the Lloyd Campus are on Jan 27th - Jan 28 in room 1079. 

Vermilion sessions are Jan 29 to Feb 1 at the Emergency Training Centre.

There is a $20 session fee required upon booking to guarantee your appointment.

When registering for your portraits:

• use your personal email (not your Lakeland edu email).
• sign up for SMS if you would like a reminder for your appointment.
• If you need to change your appointment, please reach out to Kim to change your appointment time.
  • If you book a second appointment without cancelling the first one, you will be charged a second session fee.
• Please only book a session for yourself. Do not book for a friend using your own email.They will not receive the link to their portraits. 

What to wear?

The graduation gowns and caps black with a gold/forest green sash.

• For a feminine pose, please wear a shirt without a collar.
• For a masculine pose, a dress shirt with collar is preferred.
  • If you prefer to have a collar, wear a black or darker coloured shirt so it does not clash with the grad gown and sash.
• If you would like to wear a tie, please be sure the top collar button on your shirt can be done up.

The portraits are head and shoulders only so footwear and pants will not be seen in the portraits.

Feel free to bring props or special items you would like in your photos (hats, stethoscope, nursing cap, helmet, etc.)

• If you would like to bring a pet, please text Kim at 780 259 005 to see if extra time for your session is needed.

Retakes will be held in mid-March.

• If you are away on a practicam during portrait week, please reach out to Kim for a time that works for you.
• If you do not live in Vermilion or Lloydminster, you can reach out to Kim for a time that works for you. Portraits can also be done on graduation day.

If you do not receive your portrait link when your classmates do, please reach out to Kim as there may have been a typo in the email.

The Apply to Graduate application for the winter is open. November 20-December 20. If you  are on track to graduate this December, you will want to apply.  After that has closed, you can still request your academic record to be reviewed so you can receive your parchment.  Just email records@lakelandcollege.ca

Lakeland loves to celebrate alumni connections.

If your parent(s), grandparent(s) or great-grandparent(s) attended Vermilion School of Agriculture, Vermilion Agriculture & Vocational College, Vermilion College or Lakeland College, please apply for an alumni generation pin.

The student with the highest academic standing on each campus receives the Governor General's medal.

President's Medals are presented at each campus convocation.

Graduates who are 2nd, 3rd and even 4th generation alumni are also recognized with generation pins.

Distinguished citizens are convocation speakers.
