Alberta Education's Career and Technology Studies (CTS) program is for high school students.
Through CTS at Lakeland College, you'll:
- earn a high school credit from their school
- explore a potential career
- learn hands-on at our Vermilion campus Trades Centre
- develop skills
- gain confidence
At Lakeland, you can explore:
- carpentry
- electrical
- interior design
- mechanics
- welding
Two local school divisions—Buffalo Trial and Central East Catholic Schools—send students to Lakeland College for CTS training.
Since 2015, we’ve trained over 400 students annually. .
