Education and Childcare's Career and Technology Studies (CTS) program is for Alberta high school students. 

Through CTS at Lakeland College, you'll:

  • earn a high school credit from their school
  • explore a potential career
  • learn hands-on at our Vermilion campus Trades Centre
  • develop skills
  • gain confidence

At Lakeland, you  can explore:

  • carpentry
  • electrical
  • interior design
  • mechanics
  • welding

Two local school divisions—Buffalo Trail Public School and East Central Catholic Schools—send students to Lakeland College for CTS training.

Since 2015, we’ve trained over 400 students annually.
