You can find all available books, both print and electronic, by using the search box on our Libraries page.

Eligible (registered) Lakeland College students can borrow items from the library collection for a four-week period with four renewals, however, there are exceptions. Check out our full borrowing information on the Borrowing Guidelines page.

Yes, students can sign out books and DVDs on either campus.

Yes, you can.

For help placing a request, you can visit the circulation desk in either campus library or send an email to library@lakelandcollege.ca.

On campus, if you are not connected to the college's Wi-Fi network, you will be prompted to enter your Lakeland College EDU email and password when you click on a library e-book.

When you are off-campus or are an online student, you will be prompted to enter your Lakeland College EDU email and password to login and see the entire e-book.

Yes, there are computers for student use in the library. Find more information on our Computer Access page.

Visit our Printing page for information on how to print from any computer at Lakeland College, from your own device and how to pay for printing.

The printers in the library also have photocopying and scanning functions.

You can study anywhere in the library during its open hours. There are also rooms that you can sign out for private study or for group projects.

The Alberta Library (TAL) Card allows you to borrow books from over 290 libraries across Alberta including:

  • public libraries
  • university and college libraries
  • government libraries

To obtain a TAL Card, please come to the Circulation Desk at either of the libraries. If you're an online student, you can obtain a TAL Card from your local public library.
