Our Bachelor of Applied Science in environmental management is unique to Lakeland College. If you already have an environmental credential, take our upskilling career-focused pathway.
- If you have a degree, you’ll gain work-force ready field skills.
You’ll spend your first 8 months at Lakeland building technical and field skills. Career-focused coursework and field labs run September to April.
An 8-month practicum with an employer follows. A practicum coordinator helps you find a practicum host. Most run May through December. Most are paid.
After your practicum, you complete the program with a capstone presentation in late winter. Capstone audiences include instructors, classmates, peers and industry.
As a graduate you’ll have more than the applied degree, you’ll also have industry experience on your resumé.
