Athabasca University routes
A number of degree completion options are now available at Lakeland College's Lloydminster campus.
Through an agreement with Athabasca University, you can complete:
- Bachelor of Arts (3-year, 90 credits) general degree or concentrations in history, psychology & sociology
- Bachelor of Arts (4-year, 120 credits) majors in history, political economy, psychology & sociology
- Bachelor of General Studies (3-year, 90 credits)
- Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations
- Bachelor of Science majors general, applied math and human science

What you need to know
- You'll take a mix of face-to-face at Lakeland and online AU classes.
- If you already have UT credits for this pathway, you can stay at Lakeland to finish a degree.
- You'll need a minimum of 30 AU credits to earn your degree
- This is different than the post-diploma to degree route in business.

You also have an option for taking a BEd and staying at Lakeland through the University of Calgary's community based BEd.
