All transcripts contain:
- program you’re enrolled in
- courses you took
- grade you earned
- credentials awarded
Official transcripts
- bear the signature of the Registrar
- are requested through MyCreds™
- contain the college seal
Unofficial transcripts
- are printed from student's My Lakeland accounts on plain paper (absent of key indicators of an official document)
- contain the same information as official transcripts but includes probation and suspension comments
- mostly used internally
Employers and licensing bodies often require official transcripts. You may also need one to support your application to another post-secondary institution.
Official transcripts are important to third parties as they assure authenticity and content accuracy.
It’s especially important that you check your unofficial transcript to ensure there are no errors or omissions.
Click on the Student Records tile, then select View Unofficial Transcript from the left-hand menu.
The only option under report type is Lakeland Transcript. Click Submit. This will create the transcript.

The page should automatically shift to the View All Requested Reports tab. If it didn’t, select View All Requested Reports.
To view the transcript, select the row to make the blue check mark appear. This allows you to select View Report.
The unofficial transcript will open according to your browser settings and is displayed as a PDF document.
Notes:
- You may have set PDFs to open in a new tab, in a pop-up window or to be downloaded. This is true for desktop, laptop and mobile devices. For example, if your browser is set for a pop-up you may still need to allow the pop-up. If you aren't certain, this may involve some trial and error. If needed, you can download and save the PDF or if you have access to a printer from your computer or device, you can print it.
- While all your past transcript requests can be listed under View All Requested Reports, the only one available to view is the one you created in your current session.
Start by logging into My Lakeland on a desktop or mobile device. Then:
- select the Academic Records tile.
- select Request Official Transcript from the menu.
- then Submit found on the right side or at the bottom of the screen.

Note: Please allow enough time for processing when you request a transcript for another institution.
Your transcript will be delivered to you via the MyCredsTM platform. For more information about this secure service, please visit our MyCredsTM page.

The status MyCreds means your request has been completed and your Confirmation of Enrollment letter has been uploaded to MyCredsTM. While your request is being processed, the status will show as Requested.
You will not be able to submit another request for the same program until the current request is complete and has a status change to MyCreds.
There are several reasons why this could happen:
- The confirmation of enrollment function may not be active yet for the terms you're enrolled in. Please check back in a few days. For the upcoming school year (Fall, Winter and Spring terms), it will be active by late June.
- Your program may not be eligible to submit a request on My Lakeland. The information section on the request page lists the programs that cannot use the online request. If you're enrolled in one of those programs, you will need to complete and submit the Custom Confirmation of Enrollment Letter Request form.
Students who have a hold on their account cannot be provided a Confirmation of Enrollment letter until the conditions of their hold have been cleared.
If your hold is:
- due to academic suspension, you must wait until the suspension is over.
- due to an outstanding balance on your account, you must pay the outstanding fees.
Please check the Tasks tile to determine what you need to do.

This is very likely because you were not yet enrolled in classes when the request was filled. Please check the View My Classes tile. If you don't see a schedule for the upcoming term or terms, you aren't enrolled yet. All students should be enrolled six weeks prior to registration day unless they are a late applicant.
Please complete and submit the Custom Confirmation of Enrollment Letter Request form. This form will ask you to detail the necessary information.
Processing time for this custom letter is approximately five business days. When complete, your letter will be uploaded to MyCredsTM.
To request a custom COE, you must have already requested a standard COE unless you're enrolled in an ineligible program.
