Security Services
Each campus has a security office with patrol officers.
Security offers:
- Safe Walk
- help if you are locked out
- help in any emergency situations including power outages. If you require police, fire or emergency medical response, dial 911 first.
Lakeland also has a safety app — Lakeland Safe. You can find it in your mobile device's store. See the drop down for links.

Safe Walk |
|
Our campus patrol officers are available 24-7 to help you safely reach your next destination. Contact our campus security and a patrol officer will walk with you to wherever you’re going, whether it’s another spot on campus or to your vehicle. If you’re working or studying after 6 pm on weekdays, or anytime on the weekend, let campus security know so they can patrol your area. If you live off-campus and are travelling home late, ask a member of the security team to call you at home to make sure your journey was safe. You can also set up a virtual safe walk on Lakeland Safe, the safety and security app. |
