Our 10-month program is industry-recommended. It covers all the required Alberta apprenticeship technical training.
Your primary classroom is the salon. That's where you’ll use and develop your creativity andpeople skills. You’ll work with real clients, manage the salon and use professional products.
Your training includes:
- cutting and barbering
- styling
- colouring
- texturing – straight, smooth, relax and wave
- hair extensions
- beauty’s business side – professional image, salon management, business plans
Beyond the classroom experiences include:
- guest speakers, including alumni
- salon visits
- competitions
