Master the science and art of making your clients look and feel their best as an esthetician.
You’ll study the:
- anatomy and physiology of the skin
- diseases and pharmacology
- nutrition
- beauty’s business side – professional image, salon management, business plans
At Lakeland your classroom is our campus spa. You’ll learn these skills, while practicing with clients:
- manicures and pedicures including gel polish
- facials
- body treatments such as wraps and scrubs
- body waxing
- makeup artistry
- lash and brow tints
- relaxation/hot rock massage
You’ll use specialized skin care treatments and address beauty, anti-aging and stress issues.
Plus, you’ll develop communication and business skills as you help manage the student-managed spa. And most important, you’ll work with real clients to polish your skills.
