Blended learningTally up the assets of the business administration accounting major diploma.
During your first year you’ll build basic business skills. In your second you’ll take specialized courses including:
- managerial and cost accounting
- financial management
- business law and statistics
All your courses will develop your technical accounting skills and expertise.
Start building industry connections and get real-world experience between first and second year. The 16-week practicum is optional, but another asset.
If an accounting designation is your goal, this diploma is a starting point. Your courses are on the pathway to a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
If you want a degree, you don't have to leave Lakeland. Our partnership with Athabasca University gives you two options:
- Bachelor of Management is an extra year.
- Stay for two years, and earn a Bachelor of Commerce.
